[PyOpenGL-Devel] buying visual c++

It seems that vc++ .net professional costs $1079 USD
!!!  Which I can not afford.

The Standard version costs $109 USD but does not come
with an optimizing compiler!

Anyone know of a cheaper place to get it?

I think I'm going to continue hacking around with
mingw  instead :)
