Oh, ok. Now I also get a message:

ODE Message 2: vector has zero size (ode/src/odemath.cpp:120)

(using the official 0.5 binary debug release)

Well, but still, all I can say is that this happens somewhere inside 
ODE. So if you think this is an error that should be fixed, you should 
post a message in the ODE mailing list.
But actually, I don't even know if this is really an error or not (at 
least the simulation still looks ok).
