It is a cross-platform python application bundler; it bundles the python interpreter, your application, and all required dependencies into one executable. > Does PyInstaller include package data? There should be bridgesupport files in the python package for Cocoa frameworks, that there should be a file named PyObjC.bridgesupport next to Foundation/__init__.py (and simularly for other frameworks). Unfortunately, it does something a little nutty. It seems to copy all the dependencies into one flat directory, and renames them to avoid collisions. It is copying all the CoreFoundation/*.so files out of my system python's site-packages, but it skips the .bridgesupport file, and I think that's at least part of the problem. No worries, it's nothing PyObjC is doing wrong, I just wanted to see if anyone here has solved this problem already. Thanks, -Trevor |
