Because there is a growing body of code duplication between the two bridges and, since they share underpinnings of both BridgeSupport and FFI, a growing expectation that there is a bit of parity in feature set (if only in more awareness of between the two communities). Personally, I would like to see more synergy between the two bridges (and others using BridgeSupport, of course) with a goal of eliminating a lot of what is now duplicate code. b.bum |
