Eva, You may be past the limit of what PyMOL can handle. Regardless, the 64-bit Linux builds are the best at handling large-memory tasks. Practice with something really simple: fragment arg as spheres ray 6000,9000 Also, two more things I'd suggest for such a large image (in order to cut down on RAM usage): set antialias,0 set hash_max, 100 ray 6000,9000 Another thing you can do is render 3000,4500 and use Photoshop to subsample.
