Hi Rafael,

You can use

cmd.label(selection,'"objectname-"+resn+resi')

Do mind the quotes.., the label string is _eval_uated.
Of course, if objn = "objectname", it also works as

cmd.label(selection,'objn+"-"+resn+resi')
