#4 File extension preference

We are using Pycam in our Fablab to generate gcode for ReplicatorG. ReplicatorG is used for Makerbots, Ultimakers and Mantis machines.
Because ReplicatorG only accepts .gcode files it would be really nice if we could alter the gcode file extension in the preferences.
This would enable us to change ngc into gcode once and we wouldn't have to rename the file all the time.

(If there is a simple hack we could apply in the meantime I would like to know)

    Hi Peter,

    thanks for your hint!

I added this configuration setting to the SVN trunk. Please check, if it suits your needs.
If you just need a simple for patch for your (non-svn) code, then you could just take a look at src/pycam/GUI/Project.py and change the order of file extensions for FILTER_GCODE (the first extension is used by default).

    cheers,
    Lars
