Hello again, thanks again for your help. The pipe is open in the local filesystem, I'm sure about that. If I understand correctly, you are telling me that when you press the cite buttom in Pybli, then, you have to specify by hand the key in LyX? If so, that is precisely the problem I'm talking about. Pybli is supposed to send the key when you press the buttom, so you don't have to select anything manually. When I debug the output of lyx, when the cite key is pressed (with one of the references selected), all I obtain is something like Bibkeys( The list of all the bib keys I have in my database separated by commas ) I don't think that's how it should work.
