Hi René, What version of msconvert? Our unit test file has MS3 scans in it and it writes the correct metadata. Although I'm kind of baffled as to how you're seeing activationMethod in the precursorMz element because we've been writing that attribute to the scan element since some revision in the 1300s. And now that I look at the schema again, we've been writing it the wrong place. The correct place is the precursorMz element, like you show. So I'm inclined to assume that the XML you quoted did not come from msconvert. -Matt On 9/16/2010 9:23 AM, Rene Ranzinger wrote: > Dear developer, > > we were trying to use msconvert to translate Termo RAW data files to mzXML. Our experiment is a complex sample with several ms1, ms2 and ms3 scans. The data for the corresponding scan seems to be ok. Is there a special configuration necessary to run > msconvert for ms^3+? > > Thanks for your help. > > René Ranzinger |
