Release Candidate 1 is now available! This build finalizes improvements to the ProntoWiki 1.0 branch. This release introduces a number of small bug fixes as well as a brand new piece of functionality, tagging! Users can now create tags for pages and view tags for other pages and users. This feature was implemented using AJAX technology.

This release should be suitable for general consumption. Users of previous versions should check in the App_Data directory for important database upgrades in this and other interim versions.... read more

The ProntoWiki project has reached the Beta phase. The wiki engine has been revised to be more powerful, and now includes the ability to upload images and files directly to a page. The user administration module is complete, removing the former dependence on an installation of VWD or VS2005 to administer site users and permissions. Some other features have been added as well, like the Quick Reference which allows one-click markup to simplify the normal text markup features of the wiki. ... read more
