I am having a hard time getting proftpd to authincate against my remote postgresql database so far this is a snip of my proftpd.conf ServerName "Primary FTP Server" ServerType standalone DefaultServer on SQLAuthenticate on SQLAuthTypes Plaintext SQLConnectInfo server@ip:port username password PERCALL SQLUserInfo users username password userid groupid home shell SQLDefaultUID 65533 SQLDefaultGID 65533 SQLMinUserUID 999 SQLMinUserGID 999 SQLDefaultHomedir /home/ftp SQLGroupInfo groups groupname gid members SQLHomedirOnDemand on SQLLogFile /var/log/proftpd/sql.log RequireValidShell off I am still having problems. I get this when I try to ftp to the server 421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection Login failed. No control connection for command: Permission denied ftp> my proftpd/sql.logs do not show much or anything to help me with this problem Is there anything that anyone can see that im doing wrong? |
