It told me that 'xf86_glx' and 'glidedri' were missing (I didn't know about the existence of this pkgs). I installed them and also removed the 'glide_v3-2.60-131', which collided with one of them. I also changed a little bit in '/etc/X11/CardModules', namely the appropriate tdfx-line into 'tdfx=Accel NoSLI HWcursor UsePIO' (don't know whether this is a must, I located this line while searching around). In /etc/X11/XF86Config is also a line refering glx which was missing in the original file: 'Load "glx"' (all without the ') My kernel was already compiled with tdfx as module, and bingo, it runs. Maybe this also will help with your girlfriends PC ;-). But one small bug seems also to be in prboom, the sky is kind of multiplied. Thanks to all who helped > > pete > > -- > "Coffee...
