Hi gang, I'm attempting to port ppcboot-0.6.0 to our custom 855T board which currently runs 8xxrom. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to ppcboot; it looks great. After a few hours of struggling, I've got our Lauterbach BDM system working; I guess complex tools are going to be complex to configure, but I had to resort to reading the manual just to get flash programming working, and you can tell the UI was designed by an Engineer. Anyway, my current sticking point is that cpu_init_f clobbers the BR0 setting in mpc8xx/cpu_init.c:95. The comment says: /* perform BR0 reset that MPC850 Rev. A can't guarantee */ However, we're running out of flash connected to CS0 at this point, so reseting BR0 brings us we to a screaming halt. Can anyone explain to me how this is supposed to work?
