I guess (and that's all it is :) ) that with bcrelay in operation hosts inside the LAN would be able to see VPN clients when browsing. I might try that, when pressure of work allows, because we're setting up a site-to-site tunnel today and it would be nice to be able to browse hosts on one site from the other, in both directions... FWIW I do recall a thread on bcrelay a few months ago (here I think), that indicated that bcrelay is imperfect. Bill A. -----Original Message----- From: pmu...@si... Perhaps a little off the path here, but I was under the impression that bcrelay should be set along with proxyarp for maximum effect. Is this right? So proxyarp will do as its name says, but bcrelay adds to that functionality with broadcast relaying.. ? Cheers, P |
