That may not be the best macro choice because in 1.5 it will clash with the same #define in pnglibconf.h, but the clash turns out to be a non-issue if PNG_USE_READ_MACROS is supported (because the other use of PNG_READ_INT_FUNCTIONS_SUPPORTED is hidden in that case.)
