I know that the functions work because I've called them all successfully in the constructor, and I suspect that the problem is that my Position2dProxy pos is null or has a null pointer of some kind but I'm not sure how I can work out if this is the case because Position2dProxy doesn't seem to have any functions that will allow me to test this. Geoff is suggesting that you re-compile Player with debug information, then use gdb to see what it's doing. What version of Player are you using? brian. |
