Unfortunately, there's one plugin unloading bug with it (it's possible to end up with hundreds of extra buttons). Grim's intendeing to fix this up in the next few days. I was intending to release once that's done. It has a /bell, but that could be easily changed to /buzz. If not a plugin, I had been curious as to whether this should be yahoo prpl, or core (in view that another protocol may sometime in the future, or even currently support it or a similar 'oi, are you there' function). I had been thinking about extending it to add a popup menu for Yahoo chats to provide the 'actions' as the official client does (using a dynamic popup depending on if you've selected a room member or not), but have'nt yet looked at how to find out which room member is selected. If you give me some direction on that, I'll supply a patch for the basic bell operation by the end of the w/e for both HEAD and oldstatus if you like. Regards, Pete. |
