Many linux apps don't have= this, but the simple truth is that if done correctly it could be useful. At a s= imple level, it would remove the problem of somebody changing their icon on acc= ident or forgetting that they don't have another copy of the image anymore. Wit= h maturity, this kind of code could make way for the account dialog having = a browsable history of icons. This would help with task orientation because= the user could have a bunch of icons set up in the program they're using, rat= her than needing to go to the file system and make a directory of some sort t= o manage buddy icons. -- Andrew Sayman |
