VEDIT 0.1.2 (the successor of PHPEDIT) is released. This version is still beta, but it has some nice features:
syntax highlighter, debugger, FTP client, CVS clients etc. This software is compatible with all advanced webbrowsers (IE,Mozilla, Konqueror,Opera).

Right now we are busy developing a new version of PHPIEDIT. This version contains the following features:
- crossbrowser (IE, Mozilla, Konqueror)
- contains transparant CVS system
- code templates (classes, docs, gui)
- debugger with syntax highlighting
- multiuser
- editor for various content types (txt, xml, html, gfx)

The current version of PHPIEDIT (v0.2) requires Internet explorer 5 to run. The new version (0.99) is a total rewrite of all code. This version will be w3c compliant and will run on the most browsers.

Scheduled features for the new release:
- Document version management / Filelocking
- Sourcecode templates
- Sourcecode validation (tidy)

PHPIEDIT v0.99 beta1 preview will be released before june 1st 2002.
