Hi Mike, > How successful has the CSS integration into the templates been? I'm working on this, but I'm a little busy now, so the work slows down. > Is it possible to use browser detection to allow for one view (for most > browsers) and another for Netscape 4? I didn't try. Now, I'm working on XHTML / CSS Templates with tables etc., but I'm interested in a solution which only use <div> Tags and no tables, but this won't work for NN 4.x. This will a template set for modern browsers only. For the 2nd version (div-version) it will be possible to use a JavaScript browser detection which will deliver a different style sheet for the NN 4.x. It's a little trick: NN 4.x doesn't knows the "@import" statement for stylesheets, all other CSS enabled browsers do. With JavaScript it's possible to set a special NN 4.x style sheet with "document.write()". Thanks, Lars |
