Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=1972079 By: nobody After some more research and playing around, I was able to figure out the problem: First I had to enable TCP/IP socket connections in postgresql.conf. Then I had to put a line in pg_hba.conf so it would accept the connection. Apparently, or at least as far as I have been able to figure out, version 3.0.0 does not have an option for local connections that do not have a host specified (i.e., $confServer[localhost] = '';). Version 2.4.2 does accept that kind of connection, which is why it worked while version 3.0.0 did not. Hope this information is useful to someone else. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
