#2574 Fatal error on Import of a medium sized GEDCOM file

Same as in version 4.2 a fatal error occours in version 4.2.1 (Php version 5.x) while importing a GEDCOM file (14137 KB file size):
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262604 bytes) in /home/faulhammer_de/www/Genealogie/uploadgedcom.php on line 953

The same file had no problems in PhpGedView 4.1.7 under PHP version 4.4.7 and 8 MB memory size on the server.

This is NOT a bug.

It's well documented that PGV 4.2.x requires more memory than version 4.1.x. This is because of the vastly improved database functionality (among other improvements).

You need at least 32 Mb, and more is better.
