#2325 [4.1.6pre] No pictures in Album

I've after the upgrade to PGV 4.1.6.pre no more pictures in the album. It's only to see "File not found".

I manage data and my 3000 media files with BK on my computer. The user have not the permission to edit the data base or the media. I make uploads of the GEDCOM's and pictures by FTP.

That I can show the pictures in album i must activate online editing in "Manage GEDCOM". After then I must click on each picture for edit and then after saving. After this procedur the picture is to see.

In PGV 4.1.5 it works perfect.

Gives it a solution for this problem?

You may have a file permissions problem. Do you upload the thumbnails too?

Do you use the Media Firewall feature? Are the media files in the standard Media directory, "./media/", or are they elsewhere on the server?

Since your files were uploaded by FTP, they aren't owned by the PHP process on the server. Use the FTP client to set the permissions on each file to 755.

PGV create the thumbnails automatically.
I do not use Media Firewall feature.
The media files are in subdirectories of the standard Media directory - see example:

media/albert miller 1880/albert-miller-1880-web.jpg

The directories / subdirectories / thumbs directory are set on 755. The pictures and the index file are set on 644.

I think pgv cannot recognize that the pictures are JPEGs.

I did following:

1.) Enabled online editing in edcom and Privacy.
2.) Go in Album click on edit Media.
3.) There I choosed format JPEG for the pictures.
4.) Click on Save

Now the pictures are to see in the Album, how in the Multimedia folder. To make this procedure for 3000 pictures is much time intensive.

I believe, if i go back to the pgv 4.1.4 the pictures are to see again in the Album.
