It seems like it should be fine. uClib is responsible for the rpl_malloc issue. I'm not sure what header file would supply the definition for rpl_malloc. If you look at base/src/phMemory.cpp, I've fixed the problems it caused for me when I compiled in uCLinux(way back in ~2005) for the Blackfin. Where are you getting the video input for the Gumstix? I read into the Gumstix hardware and it didn't seem there was much information on getting set up to do video capture. If it is inexpensive enough, I'd like to get set up with a Gumstix system to test out Phission on the GumStix... just for fun. ~ Phil Chad George wrote: > I'm running into the following compile error for python/phission.cc > > phission.cc:90406 error: 'rpl_malloc' was not declared in this scope > phission.cc:90483 error: 'rpl_malloc' was not declared in this scope > > should the malloc override still be used even here? > > I placed a #undef malloc right before these lines and it compiled ok, > but what consequences might doing this have? > > -Chad > |
