Given the right validations, I was able to access W2K Active Directory information from a Perl script running on Sun 2.6, I added modules from cpan, perl-ldap-0.25, Convert-ASN1-0.15, Convert-BER-1.31 to my Perl installation. The key was finding bind parameters needed to access each LDAP container, I do not know LDAP, I needed the knowledge of the W2K Active Directory implementers to complete the work. The sample Perl programs from the internet for accessing LDAP were very helpful. Would you have any examples of Net::LDAP running on Sun, retrieving information from W2K active directory? Any ideas would help. This in new the corporation and any help would be appreciated very much. Thank You Nancy Claeson 480-441-8316 USA ----- End forwarded message ----- |
