What OS? Activestate (www.activestate.com) offers the perl developers kits for a few OSs that basically allow you to create a binary that can be run anywhere. Versions available for HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows See http://www.activestate.com/Products/Perl_Dev_Kit/ for more. I use this for some LDAP apps for my windows users.
