This is what I get try to boot from my OS X cd. What does it mean? PearPC gives me a lot of "osi: 47" and then "video_ctrl: 1" and "osi: 29" before stopping completely.

Are you trying to install OSX 10.2? If so, in the config file for PearPC, change prom_env_machargs = "-v" to prom_env_machargs = ""
that should do it, if not, then i have no idea what else to do.

Yes, I am trying to install OS X 10.2. All that does is enable or disable the verbose boot. Doesn't do anything for my error.
Just for the heck of it, I also tried installing 10.1. That won't even boot. I get "[IO/PROM] <Error> unknown interpret size 1972" from pearpc.
I know some of the video modes don't work, which one are you using?
