This new version includes a substantial amount of new code. The program now processes all the three compaction modes as defined by the standard (instead of just only one), and can perform Reed-Solomon error correction. A couple of minor bugs in the image decoding routines were also fixed. The decoder now works rather well and can be used to do serious work.

After trying (unsuccessfully) to contact the previous maintainer of this project, I decided to take over in order to make available a new, much improved version of the software. - Hector.
