Bug description:
  mawk (apparently the default awk for Debian) does not support the 3rd
  argument of match(), used on line 200 of m4lib_to_newlib.sh

  > # pick out the name of the footprint
  > match (comment, /(.*)\[(.*)\]/, fp);
  > comp = fp[2];
  > comment = a[3] ", " fp[1];
