#445 Cannot change GUI language

There seems to be no way to change the language in the program options.
I'm working in Germany on a PC with a German installation of Windows 7: if the language is automatically detected, as I suspect, there may be no way for me to get the GUI in English.
Can you please tell me how to change the GUI language without reinstalling the entire OS ?

Assuming that the language files have been installed (and they are by default), then there is a menu item to do this: Mange -> Change Language. Then select English!

However, if no language files are present, then this menu item will be disabled. This is unlikely as the GUI language would then be in English anyway. The only way to get it in German would be for these files to be there.
