v3.09(1568)
System/SystemTray/Put Icon In System Tray (unchecked)
Option does not survive over exit and new start of program. Reverts to checked. I have tried saving the file before exit and just exit from the application.
Thanks
Since this preference is saved in the preference file (pwsafe.cfg), either you don't have write permission for the directory where pwsafe.exe resides, or you have a non-English user and/or machine name.
If the former, you can try specifying an alternate config file location in the command line using the '-g' option, e.g.: 'pwsafe -g "C:\temp\joe.cfg"'
If the latter, you can wait for the next release, or specify an alternate machine/user name via the -h/-u options, e.g., 'pwsafe -h machine-name -u user-name'

Thanks for your timely response. Following is sequence I tried after receiving your response.
Copied pwsafe.cfg file to oldpwsafe.cfg (put icon in system tray option checked)
unchecked option and selected file save
Copied modpwsafe.cfg showing <UseSystemTray>0</UseSystemTray> set.
Stopped password safe program and restarted. No change to cfg file.
Restarted system and password safe.
Copied pwsafe.cfg to afteriplpswafe.cfg now showing (put icon in system tray option checked)
Manually unchecked put icon in system tray option.
Copied pwsafe.cfg to chgafteriplpswafe.cfg now showing <UseSystemTray>0</UseSystemTray> set
I am now uncertain how to get the option to last across system restart. Seems to be ok if I set option, stop password safe, then restart password safe.
Again, thanks for the help.
File Added: oldpwsafe.cfg

This problem still exists after upgrading to v3.10(1664). Uncheck option to place icon in system tray. Cfg file shows option unchecked and saved. After system restart, file reverts to option checked. Not sure how to proceed at this point. Copy of cfg file with option to 0 attached. Not sure how it get changed on system reset. May be something about automatic start at IPL?? Thanks, Ken
