Depends on what is in this XML. If there is RDF/XML then I wouldn't approach it
with neither DOM nor SAX, nor any other low level XML technology.

What do you mean by "properties of each class"?
It's like asking for "verbs of each noun" in a natural language text.
It's quite vague like this. So what do you exactly want the achieve?
