The distribution kernels are not the baseline for OProfile. Is the kernel patch in a kernel.org kernel (Andrew Morton's -mm tree is OK)? If not, this patch shouldn't be applied to oprofile.sf.net sources (distributions can do what they like). If it's in a kernel.org kernel, this looks OK (I'll let Will apply it after he's looked it over given his earlier complaints) regards john |
