Hey James, This problem has come up for others before (http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/6420/2001/7/0/6091728/) and I think the solution was to look through your system for old GL headers and libs and to toss them. If it helps, I'm running the default RH 7.1 installation and am not currently seeing this issue... Later, Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Smith" <ja...@va...> To: <ope...@li...> Sent: Monday, October 22, 2001 7:07 AM Subject: [openvrml-develop] Link error in 0.11.2 Hi all, Having made the leap to running linux almost full time now, I'm trying to build OpenVRML 0.11.2, but I get linker errors, and was just wondering if anyone had come across this before, or if it was something really obvious: ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessBeginPolygon' ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessEndContour' ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessBeginContour' ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessEndPolygon' I think these are GLUT errors, but I have Mesa-devel 3.4-13, and Mesa 3.4-13, so I'm not quite sure what could be wrong... Any suggestions greatly appreciated. cheers, -- James Smith - Vapour Technology - ja...@va... www: http://www.vapourtech.com/ ICQ: 53372434 PGP: B42F 9ACD D166 018C 57F8 8698 098E FAA2 C03B C9ED ====================================================== "There's no explaining the things that might happen; there's now a new home for technology in fashion." - The Clint Boon Experience ====================================================== |
