Many reasons can have near the same behaviour, so: Send us exactly the error message received in Win32, Improve the log level in the samba server and send us some lines (log.nmb= d and log.smbd), The same can be usefull too with the OpenVPN log. I was thinking about some UDP 137:139 blocked ports at the router/firewal= l but this not the case, 'cause it worked before. If you can, use ethereal/tcpdump to get some info.
