I have found some good resources in the internet about detecting anomalies in traffic for example. I had the idea to implement a snmp-graph which do the same like the links below: http://cricket.sourceforge.net/aberrant/rrd_hw.htm http://man-wiki.net/index.php/1:rrdcreate i have created an RRA in datacollection-config.xml and a special collection-package in collectd-configuration.xml. <--- RRD-Tool example ---> rrdtool create monitor.rrd --step 300 \ DS:ifOutOctets:COUNTER:1800:0:4294967295 \ RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:2016 \ RRA:HWPREDICT:1440:0.1:0.0035:288:3 \ RRA:SEASONAL:288:0.1:2 \ RRA:DEVPREDICT:1440:5 \ RRA:DEVSEASONAL:288:0.1:2 \ RRA:FAILURES:288:7:9:5 <--- RRD-Tool example ---> After that the following error is logged in /var/log/opennms/daemon/output.log <--- SNIP ---> The following exception occured while validating field: _rraList of class: org.opennms.netmgt.config.common.Rrd: RRA:HWPREDICT:1440:0.1:0.0035:288does not match the required regular expression: "^RRA:(AVERAGE|MIN|MAX|LAST):.*$" <--- SNIP ---> Is it possible that JRobin is not 100% the same as RRD? Anyone some hints? Thanks in advance Ronny -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. |
