If would be fantastic if you opened a bug report especially if you have a Sun support contract. The last bug I opened wasn't even made official even though I included a time sample that demonstrated it. Go figure. Try with 1.4.0. I suspect that if doesn't have the problem. But haven't been able to decide yet.
