It appears that JA-SIG CAS *is* supported: http://docs.spring.io/spring-security/site/docs/3.0.x/reference/cas.html You can go to (on RHEL): http://docs.spring.io/spring-security/site/docs/3.0.x/reference/cas.html and look at: applicationContext-spring-security.xml and you should be able to get it working. Search on the wiki for pages referencing LDAP for examples on how that works for clues.
