This is the full error description: http://textsnip.com/9b3efa I tried to add a new node to see if that would work. However opennms crash with the same error as above. Is it a database error or a java error? I'm trying to migrate from a install on Ubuntu 10.04 to CentOS 5.7, both 64-bit. I've followed this guide: http://www.opennms.org/wiki/FAQ-Install#Q:_How_do_I_migrate_OpenNMS_from_one_server_to_another.3F I had to change the database to point to right iplike libriary, since there is a difference between the lib directory in Ubuntu and CentOS Most things work, however, there are two major problems. 1) If I list all nodes, they are all there. However, if I whant to check out a host, opennms crash and throws alot of error. It seems to have something with the PostgreSQL database. A short snip: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException at org.postgresql.core.v3.QueryExecutorImpl.receiveErrorResponse(QueryExecutorImpl.java:2102) at org.postgresql.core.v3.QueryExecutorImpl.processResults(QueryExecutorImpl.java:1835) at org.postgresql.core.v3.QueryExecutorImpl.execute(QueryExecutorImpl.java:257) at org.postgresql.jdbc2.AbstractJdbc2Statement.execute(AbstractJdbc2Statement.java:500) at org.postgresql.jdbc2.AbstractJdbc2Statement.executeWithFlags(AbstractJdbc2Statement.java:388) at org.postgresql.jdbc2.AbstractJdbc2Statement.executeQuery(AbstractJdbc2Statement.java:273) at com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.NewProxyPreparedStatement.executeQuery(NewProxyPreparedStatement.java:76) at org.opennms.web.category.CategoryModel.getNodeAvailability(CategoryModel.java:263) at org.opennms.web.category.CategoryModel.getNodeAvailability(CategoryModel.java:221) at org.apache.jsp.includes.nodeAvailability_002dbox_jsp._jspService(org.apache.jsp.includes.nodeAvailability_002dbox_jsp:114) at org.apache.jasper.runtime.HttpJspBase.service(HttpJspBase.java:109) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:820) 2) I think this has something to do with the above error. I have moved almost all config files that seems to be relevant, (those that's not exactly the same) OpenNMS can't contact the services or ipadresses and thereby sais that all nodes are down. Iptables and selinux are both turned off. Is there any way to see if the database is inconsistent in any way? There are some software differences between the two hosts. Ubuntu uses Postgre 8.4 and ONMS 1.8.14 where CentOS use Postgres 8.1 ONMS 1.8.15 Woult it just be easier to make a clean install of opennms and configure everything by hand, again?
