Hi there, I am trying to add SNMP monitoring of disks and process tables on our Linux systems managed by OpenNMS -- I was able to do this with an OSX system which also runs net-snmp and it collects disk usage information via SNMP, but as far as I can see, my test Linux host is either not reporting it, or OpenNMS is not collecting it. Any ideas? I've included the uncommented parts of /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf below: -- cut -- klaus-s@reliant:/usr/people/klaus-s > grep -v ^# /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf | less |grep -v ^$ com2sec local localhost COMMUNITY com2sec mynetwork NETWORK/24 COMMUNITY group MyRWGroup v1 local group MyRWGroup v2c local group MyRWGroup usm local group MyROGroup v1 mynetwork group MyROGroup v2c mynetwork group MyROGroup usm mynetwork view all included .1 80 access MyROGroup "" any noauth exact all none none access MyRWGroup "" any noauth exact all all none rwuser admin rocommunity ******* syslocation My Location syscontact my....@my... sysservices 76 proc httpd proc backburnerManager exec echotest /bin/echo hello world exec web_status /usr/sbin/serveradmin status web exec wo_status /usr/sbin/serveradmin status webobjects disk / 10000 disk /disk1 10000000 disk /ads/san01 1000000000 disk /ads/san02 1000000000 -- cut -- Are there specific OIDs that would be different on Linux vs. OSX that should be exposed to make this information available? thanks, Klaus |
