Hey OpenNMSers, I'm working on SNMP data collection for our IBM Blade Centers. I've done the traps, but I'd like to have historical data when the traps come in, so we can tell whether, say, an overvoltage condition is simply a hiccup or the result of a trend. Unfortunately, IBM only supplies voltage and temperature data as SNMP strings, like "+25 degrees Celsius." Is there any way to cast these strings as numerical data?
