I'm slowly going crazy here trying to figure this out- I have a host with two interaces, each on a different subnet. One of the two interfaces is being used as part of a test subnet that is not routed, so there are no entries in the routing table for that network- it can only communicated with hosts within the same subnet. The issue I have is this: opennms insists on monitoring all the services for the node through *both* interfaces which results in tons of outages since the opennms server is not on the "test" subnet and so cannot reach any services through that interface. I've tried: - deleting the interface - adding an exclude to discovery - unmanaging the services that it thinks are associated with that interface - unmanaging the interface - leaving the interface managed and deleting the services I've tried all of this and a few other things and everytime, the interface reappears and the services show up as failed since there is no routing. I've tried nearly everything I can think of at this point- I just want opennms to ignore the interface, or at least, to NOT try to monitor services through it. Help. - Jay |
