I answered your other email, but if you want to manually try, download this file: http://dag.wieers.com/packages/rrdtool/rrdtool-1.0.50-3.2.el4.rf.i386.rpm the el4 in the file name stands for Enterprise Linux version 4, which is the same thing as CentOS4 and do: rpm -Uvh rrdtool-1.0.50-3.2.e14.rf.i386.rpm I don't remember if I ran into dependency issues which is why I ended up putting the dag repository in my yum config or if I just wanted dag there.
