Hi all, I am new to OpenJMS, but I was hoping some one could get me passed this what should be a simple statup issue. I am running on Windows, unzipped OpenMS, and when I run startup.sh, I get the following error regarding Log4j : Using OPENJMS_HOME: c:\openjms-0.7.6.1 Using JAVA_HOME: c:\j2sdk1.4.2_04 Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError Caused by: org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: org.apache.commons.logging.Log .apache.commons.logging.impl.Log4JLogger at org.apache.commons.logging.impl.LogFactoryImpl.newInstance(LogFactoryImpl.java:532) at org.apache.commons.logging.impl.LogFactoryImpl.getInstance(LogFactoryImpl.java:272) at org.apache.commons.logging.impl.LogFactoryImpl.getInstance(LogFactoryImpl.java:246) at org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory.getLog(LogFactory.java:395) at org.exolab.jms.server.JmsServer.<clinit>(JmsServer.java:119) Caused by: org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: No suitable Log constructor [L at org.apache.commons.logging.impl.LogFactoryImpl.getLogConstructor(LogFactoryImpl.java at org.apache.commons.logging.impl.LogFactoryImpl.newInstance(LogFactoryImpl.java:525) ... 4 more Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Logger etc etc. Log4J seems to be in the lib directory, why can't the startup script find it ? I even tried putting the lib directory in my class path. Thanks for any help ! _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
