I am using OpenIPMI 1.3.18. The logs show there is no hpi connectivity at all on my board. "Wang, Jing J" <jin...@in...> wrote: Which OpenIPMI version are you using? On my board, I start hpigetevents to wait for any event generated as following: root@ixp:/root> hpigetevents -t BLOCK hpigetevents: version 0.2 ************** timeout:[-1] **************** DomainInfo: UpdateCount = 4, UpdateTime = 3dfa86c8 ********************************************** Entries: 2 Size: 4094 UserEventMaxSize: 0 UpdateTimestamp: invalid time CurrentTime: invalid time Enabled: FALSE OverflowFlag: FALSE OverflowResetable: FALSE OverflowAction: OVERFLOW_DROP rptentry[2] tag: Management Controller(0, 20) ********************************************** ********************************************** rptentry[5] tag: invalid ********************************************** ********************************************** rptentry[4] tag: invalid ********************************************** ********************************************** rptentry[3] tag: invalid ********************************************** Go and get the event Then I run test tool to generate events from threshold temperature sensors and they do not show up to hpegetevents. Then I do "ctrl-c" to exit hpigetevents and run hpiel to read events log, I am able to see the generated events. The logs are below. Does anyone see this problem with hpigetevents before?
