Yeah, agreed. I guess that what I'm thinking is that he really doesn't = know what he wants, himself. Certainly no disrespect meant, there, it's = just that I think he's kinda "reinventing the wheel," by going through a = whole bunch of unnecessary effort, time, and expense, when the ModEEG = and BrainBay are already set up to do exactly what he wants, anyway, in = terms of overall goals (neurofeedback). Since EEG frequencies are = already in the audio range, there's really nothing to convert...nothing = that would be in a useful form, anyway. --Ray ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Doug Sutherland<mailto:do...@pr...>=20 To: Discussion of EEG hardware, software, training protocols, NFB = theory - for developers and = users.<mailto:ope...@li...>=20 Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 5:53 PM Subject: Re: [Openeeg-list] EEG with sound-output = viaspeaker(NOinputtosoundcard) v.2 Ah yes that is what I suggested earlier, using tones rather than the actual converted audio. Midi in particular is more useful to the listener, who can recognize a 440hz A note. But that is not what he said he wants to do, he wants to convert the actual EEG signals to audio. As feedback, usefulness of that will not be very good. -- Doug = -------------------------------------------------------------------------= This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
