thanks to everyone for the help. My interest in this subject comes from studying neuroscience; my electronics background is virtually non-existant. I've managed to hook up the battery, assemble and connect the programming cable, and flash the firmware. After this, it has gone downhill. I have electrodes connected to both + and - terminals from both channels. They are unshielded, just like they came from the electrode store. I have the center pin (that I am assuming is VGND) from each channel hooked to the metal enclosure. I have the DRL electrode connected to ground. I have the serial cable assembled and connected to the computer. run electric guru and...nothing. no noise, no signal. There's no error message, so Eguru is seeing the correct com port, but i've just got no signal. I also get nothing if i attach the electrode pins to the cal pin. no square wave. tried a different passthrough cable. checked and rechecked the serial cable. do I have things pluged in incorrectly or is my amplifier board broken? thanks again --Taylor |
