First of all I think this app is one of the best in the play store atm.
Although I have a bit trouble figuring out the possible max. video setting for my phone. I am not an expert in reading the log, but it seems the back camera is capable of 720p. But maybe this is somehow blocked by the hardware, because I couldnt start any video. I get an error. Could someone help in this issue? Is there a workaround?

Thanks for the info. As you say, the camera driver does report it supports 1280x720. Unfortunately there seem to be some devices that have problems video recording at some resolutions, and it's hard to do anything about it without a device to test with.
