Unfortunately at the moment I am very busy with other projects ( as you can seen I have not much time even for e-mails, sorry for the delay in answering you ), but I will support you as much as I can. > I have the Demo of Baltimore's UniCERT to play with and my biggest interest > is to test OpenCA to make it cooperable with UniCERT. Good. This could be interesting even contacting Baltimore if they are interested into collaborating for interop testing... let me know. > I have the basic interest on developing the parts of PKI. Please fill free > to give me some parts of the projects according to your opinion to work on > it. Actually we have modified a lot the whole software. We are in the middle of a 'not so much exciting' development stage: there is a pre 0.8 version which use a new installation method based on autoconf which has to be integrated into the main CVS tree. Also much testing is needed on different platforms... Obviously there is always the docs to be written, and this MUST be done (soon or later... ). If you want to take a look at the new version download the latest available from ftp in the 'unstable/' directory (not snapshots!). And install it. Let me know what your interests. By now you can take a look at the openca sources and get yourself familiar with it. There are many open issues: o TimeStamping Server; o OCSP Server (this is currently scheduled and assigned to me); o SCEP (CISCO Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol) Support; o Updated OpenSource PKCS#11 (Smart Cards) Driver for Netscape; o ??? First of all you should subscribe the users and devel mailing lists, and then post there your suggestions/willing.
