Thank you Ralph. This is good information. I could not make my cheap chineese card reader work with pyscard software. I tought that my limited skills with Linux was the cause of this but I start suspecting the card reader. They software that Green Card Chinat provided me is working great but is somehow limited. I need 10 more reader for my classroom and I was about to buy the same that I already have but you convinced me to try the SCM3500 before placing my new order. A German saying tells us, buy cheap, buy twice :) ACK! So I went for a SCM reader, the SCM3500 does a fine job, and all common Windows and Linux tool seem to accept it. The SCT3512 is the actual successor...
